ଏହା Silicon Carbide (SiC) substrate wafers manufacturing facility ସହିତ ସମ୍ପର୍କିତ।
Silicon Carbide ଏକ advanced semiconductor material, ଯାହା power electronics ଭଳି high-performance applicationsରେ ବ୍ୟବହାର ହୋଇଥାଏ। QuadQuantum project ଓଡ଼ିଶାର semiconductor value chainକୁ raw material/substrate ଦିଗରେ ଆଗକୁ ନେବାର ଏକ ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ଭାବେ ଦେଖାଯାଉଛି।
SiCSem: Khordhaରେ Silicon Carbide Semiconductor Unit
ଓଡ଼ିଶାର semiconductor ecosystemରେ ଆଉ ଏକ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ project ହେଉଛି SiCSem।
PIB ଅନୁସାରେ, SiCSem IDCO Infovalley-II, Arisol Mouza, Jatni Tahasil, Khordha districtରେ semiconductor manufacturing unit ସ୍ଥାପନ ପାଇଁ approval ପାଇଛି।

3D Glass Solutions ଓ Intel: Advanced Packagingରେ ଓଡ଼ିଶା
ଏହି storyର ଆଉ ଏକ ବଡ଼ ଅଂଶ ହେଉଛି 3D Glass Solutions (3DGS)।
April 2026ରେ Bhubaneswar Info Valleyରେ ଭାରତର ପ୍ରଥମ Advanced 3D Semiconductor Packaging Unit ପାଇଁ foundation stone ଦିଆଯାଇଥିଲା।
ତା’ପରେ May 2026ରେ Odisha Government, Intel ଓ 3DGS ମଧ୍ୟରେ advanced packaging glass-core substrate manufacturing facility ପାଇଁ MoU ହୋଇଥିଲା।
PIB ଅନୁସାରେ, proposed facility Bhubaneswar–Khordha regionରେ ହେବ ଏବଂ projectଟି phase-wise ପ୍ରାୟ 5–6 ବର୍ଷ ମଧ୍ୟରେ implement ହେବାକୁ ଯୋଜନା ରହିଛି।
